Overview
Session is a music notetaking app for recording audio and writing lyrics. Your data stays on your device. We designed Session to be private by default.
Data We Collect
We don't collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers. Session works offline and keeps everything local to your device.
Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores your projects (titles, lyrics, notes), audio recordings, and metadata locally on your device. This data is stored only by the app and is not sent to us or any third party.
Microphone
Session uses your device's microphone only when you choose to record. Recorded audio is saved locally and is never transmitted to our servers.
Sharing
You can import audio files from other apps (e.g., Files, Dropbox). Session only accesses files you explicitly choose to import. We don't access files outside the app without your permission.
Third Parties
Session does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising. The app may load fonts from Google Fonts when displaying text — a standard practice that does not involve your personal data.
Data We Don't Sell
We don't sell or share your data with anyone. Your projects, recordings, and lyrics belong to you.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of Session after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We'll note the last updated date at the top of this page.
